The following fields appear on the Management Configuration page:

Field Description

HTTP/CLI Users Use to change password or add new users

to manage the unit; see below

User Name When registering a new user, enter user

name; user name is case sensitive

User Type User type is selected when registering a

new user Administrator/Viewer

New Password Use this field to insert new user’s

password or to change existing password

Confirm Password When registering a new user, or changing

a password, re-enter the above password

to verify that the password is correct.

Options Click buttons in this section with respect to

new and current users

Apply Click to have changes take effect

temporarily

Save (on menu bar) Click to have changes made on this page

remain even after a reboot

Cancel Click to clear changes made; Cancel only

works on changes where neither Save or

Apply was clicked

SNMP Configuration

SNMP Enabled If checkbox is marked, indicates that

SNMP is enabled

SNMP Version (V2 or V3) Lists SNMP version

SNMP Read Community SNMP Read and Write community strings

authenticate access to MIB objects and

function as embedded passwords
