e SmartSensor Manager Matrix (SSMM) software enables you to congure and interact
with the SmartSensor Matrix. SSMM can be run on a Windows® PC and on a Socket
Mobile 650 handheld computer.
e software comes preloaded on the handheld computer included with the Wavetronix
Install Kit; it can also be downloaded on other computers by going to www.wavetronix.
com. is chapter explains how to use the install kit, as well as how to download and install
the SSMM software.
Using the Install Kit
e install kit allows for reliable and convenient management of Wavetronix devices. e
install kit includes (see Figure 4.1):
 A Click 421 serial to Bluetooth® converter
 A Socket Mobile SoMo 650 handheld conguration device with preloaded Smart-
Sensor Manager Matrix and other Wavetronix conguration software
 Cables and an adapter for creating a wired serial connection
