WAVERLY INSPIRATIONS WAXES
After completing a Waverly Inspirations Chalk decorated
project, it is always a good idea to apply a finish to the
surface to seal, protect, and preserve the completed
project. One such way to apply protection is to use
Waverly Inspirations Wax. Once applied and cured to
the surface, Waverly Inspirations Wax provides a velvety,
smooth-to-the-touch finish. The finished sheen can
easily be adjusted, as the longer the application of wax is
buffed, the higher the sheen is achieved.
• Three beautiful wax finishes, Clear, Antique and White,
add rich texture and enhance surface details while
protecting Waverly Inspirations Chalk decorated surfaces.
• Provides velvety smooth finish.
• Wide-mouth bottle for easy brush application.
• Waverly Inspirations Chalk can be mixed
with Clear Wax to create custom color wax.
• Brush thin coat of wax onto thoroughly dry painted
surface, allow wax to dry approximately 24 hours; then
buff to desired sheen using soft, lint-free cloth.
• Fully cured to surface in seven days. Can be reapplied
every 6 – 12 months or as needed for extra protection.
• An application of Clear Wax prior to finishing with
either Antique or White Wax will make it easier to
move the colored wax.
• Non-toxic, water based.
• Clean up with soap and water while wet.

VARNISH MATTE
Apply Waverly Inspirations Varnish as a protection coat
over a completed Waverly Inspirations Chalk project.
Waverly Inspirations Varnish dries to a matte finish that
compliments the velvety smooth matte finish of the chalk
decorated surface. Also, this varnish is perfect for home
décor items that experience high traffic such as kitchen
tables and chairs because it dries to a very durable finish.
• Beautiful matte finish varnish perfect for topcoating
chalk surfaces that are not waxed for protection.
• Provides durable, non-yellowing, smooth finish
for long lasting wear.
• Best to apply two to three applications allowing ample
dry time between coats.
• For use indoors or outdoors.
• Dry time between applications depending on
humidity, is two to four hours.
• Seals chalk finish to a water and mar resistant surface.
• Non-toxic, water based.
• Clean up with soap and water while wet.
• Made in America.

with its oval shaped ferrule and smooth finished handle

easy to accomplish. The Waverly Inspirations Wax Brush

when applying wax in tight crevices.
