The communication tester is a CMU 200 from Rhode & Schwartz. This tester offers
all required GSM/GPRS network configurations and allows a wide range of network
configurations to be set.
The AX502 standalone power supply is used to supply all motherboard components
except the Wireless CPU
®
. The goal is to separate motherboard consumption from
Wireless CPU
®
consumption, which is measured by the other power supply, the
66321B “current measuring power supply”.
The “current measuring power supply” is also connected and controlled by the
computer (GPIB control not shown in the previous figure).
A SIM must be inserted in the Q64 Wireless CPU
®
Development Kit during all
consumption measurements.
