The antenna must fulfill the following requirements:
• The optimum operating frequency depends on the application. A dual-band or a
quad-band antenna will work in these frequency bands and have the following

Wavecom strongly recommends working with an antenna manufacturer either to
develop an antenna adapted to the application or to adapt an existing solution to the
application.
Both mechanical and electrical antenna adaptations are key issues in the design of
the GSM terminal.
