4.2 Operational status of the modem
The operational status of the modem is given by the LED light located on the
front panel of the modem.
The table below gives the meaning of the various statuses available.

OFF LED OFF Modem is switched off.
4.3 Verifying the received signal strength
The Fastrack modem establishes a call only if the received signal is sufficiently
strong.
To verify the received signal strength, do the following:

Using a communication software such as HyperTerminal program, enter
the AT command
AT+CSQ . Value appears for the received signal
strength.

Verify the result with the values given in the table below.
