To ground the AirPro Gold unit:
1 Loosen the GND nut on the back of the unit.
2 Attach a #12 AWG minimum wire from the grounding stud to a safe ground.
See Figure 3-1 on page 3-2.

LAN CONNECTION
To connect the AirPro Gold to the LAN:
1 Plug one end of an RJ-45 cable into the RJ-45 ETHERNET port on the front of
the unit.
2 Plug the other end of the RJ-45 cable into the RJ-45 port on the Ethernet Hub.
If you are connecting the unit directly to a PC via the RJ-45 port, use a cross-
over cable (not a straight-through cable), plug one end into the RJ-45 port on
the AirPro Gold unit and the other end into the RJ-45 port of the Ethernet card
on the PC.
ANTENNA CONNECTION
The type of antenna you use should be a semi-parabolic or solid
parabolic directional antenna. You can purchase the antenna from P-
Com or its distributors.
