Appendix F (SPEEDSignal)-11
C: Row - Numeral value to represent each row of data (e.g., 2/25 means this is row 2
of the possible 25 rows. The maximum amount of rows is 25).
D: Noise - The noise represents the noise before the packets were received. This is

is expressed in dBm.)

the 9000 unit (e.g., star: base station) and name of the program (SPEEDSignal).

H: Up and down arrow - You can rearrange the order of the rows by highlighting a
row and clicking on the up or down arrow.

Pocket PC PDA.)

PDA.)
Adjusting SPEEDSignal Settings
Settings
If you want to change the settings, such as the channel and rows shown per screen,
choose Settings from the File menu. (For Pocket PC PDA, tap Tools and then tap
Settings. However, only the Channel setting will be available for the Pocket PC PDA.)
A dialog box similar to the following will appear:
Settings dialog box
This setting changes the channel on the
SPEEDLAN 9000, not the channel on the
SPEEDSignal unit being monitored.
Make sure that the channel on the
SPEEDLAN 9000 router and unit being
monitored match. If you want to change
the channel for your Pocket PC PDA’s, go
into the WLAN settings configuration utility.
