Couplings and
Coupling Kits are used for making WaterPEX
®
repairs in the
field, continuing a run as well as transitioning from polybutylene
pipe to WaterPEX
®
tubing. The Lead Free* Brass Couplings
feature Lead Free* construction.
Specifications
System shall be plumbed using Watts WaterPEX
®
cross-linked
polyethylene pipe, and all joints shall be made using Watts
Lead Free* Brass CrimpRing
™
and/or Poly-alloy CrimpRing
™
fittings using either the Watts copper CrimpRing
™
or stainless
steel CinchClamp
™
crimping methods as outlined in the Watts
Installation Guidelines. The couplings shall be constructed using
Lead Free* Brass. Lead Free* Brass couplings shall comply
with state codes and standards, where applicable, requiring
reduced lead content.
Installation Note
Lead Free* Brass Couplings must be installed in accordance
with all Watts installation procedures, including information
provided in installation manual and guidelines.
