unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after
the system.
If you are unsure about installing your WATTS water filter, contact
a WATTS representative or consult a professional plumber.
Discard small parts remaining after the installation.
Failure to install the system correctly voids the warranty.
Handle all components of the system with care. Do not drop,
drag or turn components upside down.
For units that are not cabinet mounted, be sure the floor under
the water filter system is clean, level and strong enough to support
the unit.

Overview
Thank you for your purchase of a state of the art Water
Treatment system.
Your new Certied system is equipped with premium coconut
shell Inline Granular Activated Carbon with quick connect
ttings. This system is easy to connect and can be used in
Reverse Osmosis (RO) Inline post lter, water coolers/fountains,
coffee/tea makers, refrigerators, motor homes, campers, and
other low ow applications.
Inline Granular Activated Carbon lter reduces chlorine and odor
from the water to improve taste. This system is certied for Lead
Free compliance.
System Maintenance
It is important to change lters at the recommended interval
indicated in this manual. Many contaminants are not detectable
by taste. In addition, other bad tastes and odors may become
apparent over time if lters are not replaced.
When replacing any of the lter elements, pay special attention

Step 1 - Note direction of
water ow arrow on

Step 2 - Remove the end cap
plugs from the lter
and discard them.
Step 3 - Hand tighten tting in
clock-wise direction
as required to ensure
leak free connection.
Do not over tighten
ttings.
Step 4 - Blunt cut the tube
(tube is not supplied
with the product)
