VOLTAGE CONVERTER OPERATION: 1 Plug Voltage Converter into 220/240 volt wall outlet. Fold down the metal tab on the back of the converter before plugging it in to keep it parallel with the wall outlet. If the converter does not sit parallel to the wall outlet, it may not make proper contact. Use an adapter plug if necessary. Plug adapters for various countries are available from Watson. 2 Plug in your appliance. Plug your 110/120 volt appliance into the outlet on the Voltage Converter.
wattage of your appliance does not exceed 85 watts. If the Voltage Converter fails to operate, unplug it from the electrical outlet and check the fuse. Replace only with a similarly-rated fuse. 3 After use, unplug the Voltage Converter. Do not leave the Voltage Converter plugged into the wall outlet when not in use. Watson Voltage Converters are available in several wattage ranges. Be certain you have selected the proper voltage converter for your appliances. Voltage converters do not convert electric cycles (60 Hz American vs. 50 Hz foreign). Check with your appliance manufacturer if you have any questions.
