Thank you for purchasing the Watson Grounded Voltage Converter. Browse through this manual for instructions and useful tips on how to use your new equipment.
VOLTAGE CONVERTER OPERATION: 1 Plug Voltage Converter into 220/240 volt wall outlet. Use an adapter plug if necessary. Plug adapters for various countries are available from Watson. 2 Plug in your appliance. Plug your 110/120 volt appliance into the outlet on the Voltage Converter. Turn on the ON/OFF switch and then turn on your appliance. Models VCG-SD300 and VCG-SD500 have two outlets which allow you to use two products simultaneously.
3 After use, unplug the Voltage Converter. Do not leave the Voltage Converter plugged into the wall outlet when not in use. WARNING: Do not use with appliances rated at more than the marked wattage of your voltage converter. Check your appliance's rating plate for wattage. If wattage is not indicated, multiply voltage by amps to calculate.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS: Your Watson Step-Down Grounded Voltage Converter is designed to downconvert foreign 220/240 volt electrical current to 110/120 volt U.S. current. Watson Voltage Converters are available in several wattage ranges. Be certain you have selected the proper voltage converter for your appliances. Voltage converters do not convert electric cycles (60 Hz American vs. 50 Hz foreign). Check with your appliance manufacturer if you have any questions.
