Note:
On the bottom of the static elimination bar there is a row of sharp pins. The pins are
not dangerous, but if you touch the pins accidentally, this action can alarm you.

Open the connecting bridge
cover.

Remove the two orange thumb-
screws

Lift the bridge pivot guard clear
of the machine.
Remove the bridge pivot guard.2

Clean the pins on the static elim-
ination bar with a small brush.
Clean the static elimination bar
in the connecting bridge.

Fit the guard and secure with the two
orange thumb-screws.
Fit the bridge pivot guard.4
Open the gathering area cover.5

Clean the pins on the bottom of the

Be careful that you do not dislodge
the belts (see ‘Illustration’ on page
90).
