5.3 System Information
Use the System Information menu to configuration the following system information:
 System Name - assign a name for the switch. The maximum length is 64 bytes.
 System Description - displays the description for the switch. The information is read
only and cannot be modified.
 System Location - assign the physical location for the switch. The maximum length is
64 bytes.
 System Contact – Enter the designated contact for this switch.
The System Information screen displays the following:
 Firmware Version - displays the firmware version for the switch.
 Kernel Version - displays the kernel software version.
 MAC Address - displays the unique hardware address assigned by manufacturer
(default).
