• Donotinstallonhotwatersupplylines.Themaximumoperatingwatertemperatureofthisltersystem
is100°F(37.8°C).
• Donotinstallifwaterpressureexceeds100psi(690kPa).Ifyourwaterpressureexceeds80psi(552
kPa),youmustinstallapressurelimitingvalve.Contactaplumbingprofessionalifyouareuncertainhow
to check your water pressure.

may deteriorate plastic.
• Takecarewhenusingpliersorpipewrenchestotightenplasticttings,asdamagemayoccurifovertight-
ening occurs.
• Donotinstall in direct sunlight or outdoors.
• Allhydro-pneumatictanksmusthaveanappropriatepressurereliefvalveinstalled.
• Donot install near water pipes which will be in path of a drilling tool when selecting the position to mount
the bracket.
• Mountlterinsuchapositionastopreventitfrombeingstruckbyotheritemsusedintheareaofinstallation.
• Ensurethatthelocationandfastenerswillsupporttheweightofthesystemwheninstalled.
• Ensurealltubingandttingsaresecureandfreeofleaks.

Donotinstallunitifcolletismissing.ContactWaterFactorySystemsifcolletsaremissingfromanyttings.
• SHUTOFFFUELORELECTRICPOWERSUPPLYTOWATERHEATERafterwaterisshutoff.
• ThedisposableltercartridgeMUST bereplacedevery12months,orsoonerifanoticeablereductionin
owrateoccurs.
• TheROMembranecartridgeMUST bereplacedatleastevery36months.
