Before you Begin
Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP
1 Select Start => Programs => Accessories => Command Prompt.
2 At the prompt, type
ipconfig /all and then press Enter.
3 Record the TCP/IP settings in the table provided.
4 Click Cancel.
Microsoft Windows NT
1 Select Start => Programs => Command Prompt.
2 At the prompt, type
ipconfig /all and then press Enter.
3 Record the TCP/IP settings in the table provided.
4 Click Cancel.
Microsoft Windows 95, 98, or ME
1 Select Start => Run.
2Type:
winipcfg
3 Click OK.
4 Select the Ethernet Adapter.
5 Record the TCP/IP settings in the table provided.
6 Click Cancel.
Macintosh
1 Select the Apple menu => Control Panels => TCP/IP.
2 Record the TCP/IP settings in the table provided.
3Close the window.
