Audio does not switch to TV or screen
Problem/Question:
Audio remains on the P C sound device and do es not switch to the TV or Screen.
Symptom:
I have started watching a movie or cli p on the internet and then connected the
Wireless USB kit laptop dongle. The picture is showing on my TV but t he sound
did not swit ch t o the TV.
Solution:
Restart the player or r efresh the web page af ter connec ting the dongle, to allo w
the default audio device t o switch to the USB audi o device. This doesn’t always
happen automatically after the player or webpage was already activated.

Setting Audio Output Device
The PC audio output device should set itself automatically to t he connected
Wireless USB Adapter C- Media audio dev ice. If it doesn't, you can select the
corr ect A udio P layback device from the drop down di al og as f oll o ws:
In Windows XP:
1. Right click the Volume icon in the S ystem Tray and select Adjust Volume
Properties.
2. In the Sounds and Audio Devices Properties screen, select the Audio tab.
3. In the Sound Playback > Default Device drop-dow n box, sel ect t he USB
PnP Sound Device.
4. Click OK to save the new setting.
