Answer:
In some cases, with diff erent TV brands, the T V by default is setu p to a specific
resolution, and is not scanning the HDMI for supported r esolutions.
This c an usually be resolved by enterin g the T V set up screen a nd looki ng for a
met hod for enabling th e HDMI scan ( Or switching to PC mod e if avail able). I f this
mode is not availa ble pleas e try to select different screen resolutions in the TV
until you fin d one that f its the resolution you have selected on your laptop screen
settings.
Or
When usi ng Ext end M ode, c hange the resolution using Display Li nk Manager.

I am connected to my TV in HDMI mode and the picture on the TV is too sm all

Display is flipped
Problem/Question:
I am connected to my TV in HDMI mode. I c an get a c orrec t display and sound if I
use the ‘Ex tend’ display option in Windows 7 ‘Screen Resolution’ menu but if I try
to displa y the whole des ktop on the TV us ing ‘sho w deskto p on 2’ the displ ay is
upside down.
Answer:
You m ight have selected La ndscape (flipped) in the Screen Resolution window.
