Extend and Mirror mode
Problem/Question:
What is the difference between 'Mirror Mode' and ' Ext end M ode'?
Answer:
In Mirror Mode what yo u see on the notebook screen is also seen on the TV
(including icons) while i n Ext end M ode the remote di splay extends your notebook
screen (excl uding ico ns). In t he latter you c an let your family or friends watch a
movie stream ing from your laptop on t o your HDTV while you f or example, can
conti nu e wor ki ng on your doc uments, emails and facebook account disp layed on
the l aptop scr een.
Using Extend Mode
Problem/Question:
Using the system i n Ext end Mo de - set ti ng the wireless system to operate as an
extension or additional Screen or Display to the PC.
Instructions:
Use the Extend mode t o display di fferent content on each displa y screen. In
Extend mode, the disp lay attached to the Base Adapter becomes an ext ended
part of the Windows desktop. The extra des kt op ar ea is a gre at product ivity aid,
allowing you to view or work with more appli cations or d ocuments at the sam e
time. You can also use this mode to extend your desktop to fill multiple screens
that are positioned next to each oth er for a larger cont inuous w ork space.
