Wireless Connectivity
Wireless icon is Gray
Problem/Question:
PC A dapter is attached to PC, but I see the Gray icon in System Tray.
Symptom:
Host PC show Disconnected (Gray) icon in System T ra y.
Solution:
· Detach and re-att ac h PC Adapter .
· Exit from the Wireless USB Manager (right-click the System Tray icon, select
Exit) and restart the Wireless USB Manager.
· Detach PC Adapter, restart PC, re-attach the PC Adapter.
Wireless icon is Red
Problem/Question:
Problems in establishing con nect ion with D evice (red) ic on in S ystem Tray.
Symptom:
Host PC is showing disconnected device (Red) icon in S ystem Tray.
Possible Sol uti on:
Check if a device is connected: right click the System Tray icon and select
Wireless USB Manager to view the l ist of avai lable dev ices and t o see the green
connected icon next to the device name of the newly established connection.
· Green Sy st em Tray icon does not light up to indicate that a connection
has been established,
OR
· The Device is not listed in the Wireless USB Manager screen.
Power is not applied to the Device: ensur e that th e appropriate power suppl y is
connec ted to power supply connector on t he device side.
Device Adapter requires restart: Detach and r e-att ach the Devic e Adapter from
the Display A dapter to rest art the hardware.
Wireless Device is out of range: if you experience frequent Wir eless link
disconnec tion, the Wireles s Device may be o ut of range – the solution is to bri ng
the Wirel ess Device closer to t he Wirel ess USB PC Adapter.
