Note:

The StreamHD shows a “waiting for connection” mess age.
Connecting AudioThe following options can be used to
connect an Audio Output Device to the Base Adapter:
Using the HDMI connector:
Connect the HDMI ca ble t o the HD Bas e. Both video a nd audio are supported
when using the HDMI cable.
Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to t he appro pr iat e HDMI port on the TV,
Projec t or or Monitor for stereo audio or to an availa ble port in a home theater
system for surround sound. For this configur ati on the home theater system
should support HD MI output to be connected to the TV, P rojec tor or Monitor.
Verify the recei ver i s c onfigure d to the correct i nput.
Using the Optical S/PDIF connector:
Connect the S/PDIF cable to an available por t in a home theater system for
surr ound sound. Verify the audio receiver is configured to th e correct input.
Using the dedicate d 3.5 m m por t:
Connect an audio cable with a 3.5mm (mini-ster eo) plug to the audio jac k on t he
Adapter Base (green color), Connec t the ot her en d of the audio cable to the
appropriate audio in put j ack on the TV, Pr ojector, Monitor, speak er system. This
port supports stereo audio onl y.
Note:
The audio output is activated automatically. If you need to set the
audio out put devic e man ually, see Setting Au dio O utput Device.
Positioning the PC Adapter
To ac hieve best perfor mance i t is recommended to pos ition t he PC Adapter i n the
upright posit ion.
