3. Operation
Controls and Indicators
Operator controls and indicators are located on the front panel. Figure 8 shows the panel
arrangement. Table 3 identifies the function of each element.

Control/Indicator Function
Digital Bargraph Displays percent-of-range indication.
Primary Display Displays measurement and some error messages.
Secondary Display Displays the absolute value of the measurement signal in
millivolts, the output in 4 to 20 mA, or the temperature, and error
messages and configuration/calibration prompts.
CALibration Key Places transmitter in Calibration mode. This enables you to calibrate
the transmitter automatically to your buffer solutions or manually to
values entered.
CONFIGuration Key Places transmitter in Configuration mode. This enables you to
configure the value or status of each parameter required for your
application.
HOLD Key Places transmitter in Hold mode. This enables you to hold the
output at a determined value while configuring or calibrating the
transmitter or performing sensor maintenance.
MEASUREment Key Places transmitter in Measurement (normal operation) mode.
