This will allow the maintenance of all Customs and Excise details to be processed upon a single
transaction which can be manually performed upon receipt of a lot. The receipt could be from own
production, purchases or from a warehouse/business transfer. If from own production then the
transaction will inspect all ingredients issued to the associated production order and default the age
of youngest spirit.
An enquiry transaction ALCQ (Alcohol Details Enquiry) has also been provided to allow the above
alcohol details to be displayed. As well as displaying any associated re-gauge details for bulk
alcohol items, the enquiry can also display any associated tank dip readings which have been
performed for any alcohol item.
A new parameter, ‘One Item per Supplier Batch’, has been added to GTMT (Maintain Global Trace
Data), to indicate if multiple items are allowed for a Supplier Batch Number. If set to ‘Y’ then there
is a one to one relationship between an Item and Supplier Batch. It can only be set to ‘N’, i.e. allow
multiple items per Supplier Batch, if the related ‘One Lot per Supplier Batch’ is also set to ‘N’. The
following transactions have been amended to allow the supplier batch number to be non-unique, i.e
previously a batch number could not contain >1 item.

Enquiry transaction PTAL (Pallets at all Locations) has been amended to allow the display of
location details to be limited to pallets within a lot for a specified Supplier Batch Number for the
entered Item.
4.2.11.13 Bulk Spirit Management (SR4381)
The following new transactions have been introduced to make the processing required for bulk
spirit easier to manage. The transactions have been provided to allow the transfer of bulk spirit from
multiple locations to be easier to control, but the transactions can be used for any item type, i.e.
does not have to be alcohol with associated customs and excise processing.
• LTTL – Lot Location Transfer
This transaction will be used to transfer a whole lot from many store locations to one central
location, and can be used to marshal pallets prior to being allocated or issued to sales and
