Add a Storage Location. Any location which has no storage location parameters will also be
considered as being available, i.e. only locations which have location parameters where 'Include in
MRP' has been set to N will be excluded.
4.2.11.11 Warehouse Rents (SR4241)
The Warehouse Rents enhancement allows warehouse rents to be incurred against inventory.
If the inventory is held in a contract-specific location, it is assumed to be customer-owned and that
the contract reference (control reference 1) identifies the customer account number. Invoices are
raised against warehouse rents incurred against customer-owned inventory.
Inventory which is not held in a contract-specific location is assumed to be owned by the business.
Warehouse rents incurred against business-owned inventory are used to inflate the value of this
inventory.
Warehouse rents are raised against palleted stock. Inventory items must also be Actual-costed and
lot-controlled.
Warehouse rent parameters must be defined using WRMA (Warehouse Rent Management) before
rents can be started for the business and before any rent rate information can be defined.
Warehouse rent rates are defined using WRRM (Warehouse Rent Rates) and can be reviewed using
the WRRQ (Warehouse Rates Enquiry) transaction.
Warehouse rents are started using WRST (Warehouse Rent Start). WRGN (Rent Generation) is
used to submit WRCA (Rent Calculation) transactions. Once warehouse rent calculations have been
generated they can be reviewed using WRCQ (Warehouse Rent Enquiry). The WRIN (Rent
Invoicing) transaction is used to invoice warehouse rents. Invoiced rents can also be reviewed using
WRCQ.
The WRMN (Warehouse Rent Housekeeping) transaction is used to remove rent calculations (either
before or after they have been invoiced).
The following transactions stop warehouse rents automatically when the related inventory is moved,
issued or despatched: STTL, STSI, STII, WOIS, WSHN, WMIS, WOSI and LOSP.
TROPOS Form provides a template for warehouse rent invoices. Sundry invoices whose reason
code matches the one defined in WRMA (Warehouse Rent Management) will be printed using the
layout defined for warehouse rents (wppinpr.outrent) instead of the standard layout for sundry
invoices. The warehouse rents layout includes details of the warehouse rents making up this
invoice.
4.2.11.12 Age of Youngest Spirit (SR4243)
A new transaction ALCM (Maintain Alcohol Details) has been provided to allow the following
details to be recorded for an alcohol item:
Age of Youngest Spirit (AYS Date)
Re-Gauge Details i.e. OLA and RLA.
The transaction will also be able to maintain existing Customs and Excise indicators and start any
warehouse rent processing.
