4.2.11.6 Update Actual Costs (SR4244)
A new option to ‘Update Actual Costs’ has been introduced upon the PIRR (Record PI Adjustment)
transaction. It allows for the situation where the assumed stock quantity has been delivered to stores
from production and PIRR is being used to record the actual quantity delivered using tank dip
readings, for example. The option will only be available if the item is actual costed and the lot was
created from an associated production order for that item.
4.2.11.7 Pallets at all Locations (SR4246)
PTAL (Pallets at all Locations) enquiry transaction now has the ability to display a summary of the
total pallets displayed. The summary option will display by lot number the number of pallets and
total quantity contained within the lot.
An option exists to display summary details or not. The allowed values are:
0 No Summary
1 Summary Only
2 Display and Summary
If the summary option has been selected then after displaying any pallet details the transaction will
display details summarised for each lot. The summary will detail the number of pallets and pallet
quantity contained within each lot. The summary will always be sorted by store, location and
control reference within item number sequence. Totals will be shown upon change of location,
store, control reference and/or item number.
4.2.11.8 Summarise Option on PLST (SR4413)
A ‘Summarise by Pallet’ option has been provided on the PLST (Pallets by Store) enquiry
transaction. This option allows pallets which contain multiple lots for an item or contain item stock
with multiple control references to be displayed as a total quantity for each item on the pallet. When
this option is used, control references and lot numbers are not displayed.
4.2.11.9 Planned PI Counts By Store and Location (SR4089)
PIRQ (Request PI Counts) has been changed so that ranges of stores and locations can be entered if
Planned PI Count is ‘Y’.
4.2.11.10 Reorder Point Processing (SR4501)
Reorder point processing has been made more flexible by allowing certain stock locations to be
excluded from the processing. This will allow stock held within these locations not to be considered
as being available when calculating the stock level to be considered for automatic reordering.
Manual Set-Up Procedures
A new management parameter, Reorder Point Method, has been added upon transaction WIMD -
Inventory Management, to control what locations will be considered when calculating the available
quantity for automatic reorder processing. If the new parameter has been set to A - All Locations,
then all stock for the item will be considered as being available, whereas if the parameter has been
set to M -MRP Locations, then only stock which is held within a location which has been defined as
'Include in MRP' will be considered. The 'Include in MRP' indicator is maintained upon SLAD -
