Hence the net postings are the same whether the cost of the lot is changed when the stock is
classified as bin stock or consignment stock.
Note:
If lot costs are being changed to reflect the supplier invoice price (as opposed to the purchase order
price), it is likely that postings to COSTCHG can be contra’d by the postings to INVPV (Invoice
Price Variance) which are generated when the related purchase invoices are processed.
Manual Set-Up Procedures
Ensure the COSTCHG mnemonic has been defined and corresponds to an appropriate stock
revaluation account.
4.2.11.4 Alternative Stock Count Listing Report (SR3834)
The transaction PIRQ (Request PI Counts) has been changed so that the stock count report can be
produced in a different sequence.
The existing report RBC2100 (Item Category sequence) is generated by default or by setting Sort
Option to ‘0’ (zero).
The new report, RBC2101 (Item Number sequence), is generated if Sort Option is set to ‘1’ (one).
The sequence in more detail is as follows:
• Item Number
• Warehouse
• Store
• Bin Location
• Lot Number
4.2.11.5 SLCM - Stock Location Movement (SR4213)
This transaction, which is used to move stock to a different store and location, has been amended to
allow the stock move to be selective on lot number and supplier batch number. The transaction can
be used in various ways:
It can be used to move the complete contents of a store and location to another store and location.
All available bin, quarantine and consignment stock for both lot controlled and non lot controlled
items is moved to the destination store and location.
If a Supplier Batch Number is entered only lot controlled items are considered and only lots with a
matching supplier batch number are moved. If a Lot Number is entered only stock for the specific
lot is moved. The ‘from’ store and location is optional when moving stock associated with a
Supplier Batch Number or a Lot Number. A store, or a location, or both store and location can be
specified, and if neither store nor location is specified, stock at any store and location is moved.
If ‘Select All’ is requested individual item numbers, lot numbers and locations are not re-displayed.
Otherwise, up to thirteen lines are displayed and the nominated lines only are moved. The next
thirteen lines are redisplayed on completion of the updates.
Quarantine stock locations can be excluded from the stock move, if required.
