4.2.10.2 Override Process Times (SR4357)
At TROPOS Release 2.3.0 the processing for allowing a production rate to adjust the process lead
time for an order was removed. The processing was removed to allow each process stage to be
scheduled within the associated resource shift pattern rather than all stages being scheduled within
the shift pattern of the process line. If the production rate was to differ from the norm then each
stage could be adjusted via the PMSM (Process Stage Maintenance) transaction.
To allow for those third party scheduling systems which return order start and end times but not
stage start and end times, the WOAD (Add a Production Order), WOCH (Change a Production
Order) and WAAL (Add an Allocated Order) transactions have been amended to allow input of a
new parameter 'Override Process Times' which, if set to 'Y', allows the entered start and end time to
override the planned start and end time. If the entered order lead time is greater than the planned
lead time, then all process stages will be scheduled according to the planned process stage times,
but there will be an extended gap between the penultimate stage end time and the last stage start
time. If the entered order lead time is less than the planned lead time, then all stages will be
scheduled according to the planned process stage times, but there will be a number of overlapping
process stages which will all have been scheduled to end at the entered order end time.
The processing for orders without a process is unchanged, the production rate is still used.
4.2.10.3 Production Order Print (SR4240)
The production order print routine has been amended to extract details of any associated production
order extra data. This will enable the standard TROPOS Production Order Print and any white paper
printing outfile to report production order extra data.
4.2.10.4 Excise Document Prints (SR4223)
The customs and excise documentation for bottling activities produced via EXDP (Excise
Document Print) transaction has been amended as per the following:
Operation Account
Where ingredient quantities with related tank dip readings have been transferred between
warehouses and /or business prior to being issued to the order rotation, the readings will also be
transferred to allow the details to be printed upon the Operation Account. In addition, when a sales
transfer order has been used to transfer items between bonded warehouses, a single W81
Interwarehouse Despatch Advice note will be generated per lot despatched instead of per pallet. The
production of the Operation Account has also been amended to cater for recording ingredient issued
shortages and their subsequent shortage clearance.
Declaration of Outturn
The production of this form can now be produced from within a different business from the
business that originally generated the rotation number. The recording of any gains or losses may be
recorded either within the original business or within the business which performed the bottling
activity.
