CLUE (Call Look-Up Enquiry) now allows issue and reply text for each call returned to be
displayed, and allows filtering by Call Sub Type and Date From. In addition, this enquiry now
displays the description of the first action which has not been completed for each call that has a
status of "In-progress".
CLAD (Call Actions Due Enquiry) now displays the Call Sub Type and includes the option to
redisplay call issue and action text.
CTSH (Call Text Search Enquiry) now allows a call logged date range to be specified for the
search, and displays the call priority for each call returned (where maintained).
4.2.2.3 Extra Data and Action Set Enhancements (SR4030)
This enhancement has added increased flexibility in relation to the creation of Sets of Actions and
maintenance of Extra Data.
Action Sets
It is now possible to define a Set of Actions without necessarily having to link it to a Call Reason
Code, since a Set of Actions is now defined against a separate Action Set DAVL code rather than a
Call Reason DAVL code.
When logging a new call using the CALL (Log a Call) transaction, if an Action Set DAVL code
exists matching the entered Call Reason DAVL code, for which a Set of Actions has been defined
using the SETM (Set of Actions Maintenance) transaction, the Auto Action indicator will default to
'Y' in order to add this Set of Actions to the call automatically.
Extra Data
For certain data items, multiple sets of extra data prompts can be defined depending on a data type
qualifier. In the past extra data could only be maintained against those prompts relating to the data
type for a specific data item.
It is now possible to maintain extra data for a specific data item against multiple sets of prompts.
This allows, for example, extra data for a specific Call Number to exist against more than one Call
Reason. When maintaining extra data using the EDMN (Maintain Extra Data) transaction, if a data
type qualifier is required, the qualifier and extra data prompts will default according to the type
relating to the specific data item being maintained. However a different valid qualifier may be
entered if extra data needs to be maintained for that data item against a different set of prompts, as
long as prompts have been defined for that data type qualifier using the DEED (Define Extra Data)
transaction.
The CALE (Call Enquiry) and CALP (Print Call Details) transactions have been amended to display
/ print all extra data prompts and values for all Call Reasons against which extra data has been
maintained.
Call Cross References
A new Call Cross-Reference Type of 'CLD' (Dependent Call) has now been introduced in order to
allow a distinction between a Call that is simply cross-referenced to another Call, e.g. for
informational purposes, and a Call that is dependent on another Call.
