4.2.1.7 User of printer SSISYS$NULL (SR4187)
When the printer SSISYS$NULL was introduced it meant 'Do not produce or print this report'.
With time, this definition has become inconsistently applied and it also means that a specific user
may override printing requirements specified by the System manager via the DPMT transaction.
The definition of SSISYS$NULL has now been changed to :
Do not print MY copy of the report, but still produce it and print according to the DPMT definition.
4.2.1.8 SuperSearch (SR4281)
e-TROPOS SuperSearch is the new search and display module that helps to find information in
TROPOS data.
Accessed via a browser across an Intranet or the web, it displays dynamic views of TROPOS data,
with point-and-click selections from scrolling lists of data, such as items, orders, suppliers and
customers. For example, you can start with a list of customers, drill through to the sales orders, then
to the delivery schedule and finally to the individual invoices.
More information is available on the SuperSearch datasheet.
4.2.2 Customer Relationship Management (CRMS)
4.2.2.1 Call Plan Management (SR3752)
A Call Plan provides the ability to target specific Contacts for a specific marketing campaign, and
to manage all outgoing Calls to these Contacts for the purposes of the campaign. The campaign may
be a mail-shot informing the targeted Contacts about price changes or a new promotion, the
provision of training, or may be a continuous marketing activity of telesales calls to the Contacts
etc.
For each Call Plan it is possible to specify how many times and how often the identified Contacts
should be contacted. These details are used by the system each time a Call to a Contact is logged
referencing a particular Call Plan, to determine the next date that that Contact should be called
again. It is possible to over-ride the next call due date for a specific Contact, or to specify that a
Contact need not be called again for the purpose of that campaign. For example, if a Contact has
placed an order then it may not be appropriate to call them again.
Each Contact associated with a Call Plan has a Won/Lost indicator, which will be automatically set
to 'W'on if the Customer to which the Contact belongs places a sales order tied to the Agreement
Reference linked to the Call Plan.
New Transactions
A number of new TROPOS transactions have been introduced by this enhancement:
• The CPLM (Maintain Call Plan) transaction is used to add and maintain details about a Call
Plan.
• The CPCM (Maintain Call Plan Contact) transaction is used to associate a Customer Contact
with a Call Plan.
