consignment. The format of the new W81 form will have a separate page for each tax type being
reported, with a total for each Tax Type and a Grand Total upon the last page.
PKRD (Record Despatch) will now allow the transfer of goods between one business warehouse
and another business warehouse. The transfer of the goods will still be performed via STII (Transfer
Stock) transactions, which will be generated by PKRD, and the receipt can be recorded via STIO
(Receive Transfer Order). The associated W81 form generated for the transfer can be per sales order
line or consignment.
The source of data available to be printed upon the new and existing W81 white paper print form
will now include the following details: Warehouse Extra Data, Customer VAT Registration
Number, Despatch Transport Details, Item Number Extra Data, Item Structured Descriptions, Lot
Extra Data and Age of Youngest Spirit.
NB. The W81 form will shortly be replaced by the W8 form. Contact SSI for details.
Manual Set-Up Procedures
To use the new W81 form, the APTM (Tax and Customs) transaction has to be performed to set the
‘Generate W81 by’ indicator to ‘C’onsignment.
A new white paper form document type – 309 W81 Advice Note (Consignment) – has been
introduced for the amendment. DPMT (Print Method Selection) should be performed for this
document type to define the output destination for this form.
The format of the new W81 output layout might have to be customised to allow the use of the extra
information that has now been made available, e.g. Lot Extra Data or Item Structured Description.
4.2.1.5 Inter Business Transfers (SR4368)
This enhancement is associated with enhancement SR4326 Inter Warehouse Despatch.
Sales Transfer Orders can now be transferred between two businesses. The Business has been added
to the Default Transfer To details held against the Customer Address details (CNAD). These default
onto the PKRD transaction when recording despatch but can be amended. Once the Sales Transfer
Order has been despatched and before it has been received, the Despatch Transport Details can now
be seen on the STIE transaction (In-transit Stocks). These include the Haulier, Haulier Name,
Vehicle Numbers, Waybill Number, Consignment Method, Packers Code and details of where the
items are being transferred to.
The Despatch Transport Details are now also stored for Sales Consignment Orders when recording
despatch (PKRD). These can be seen when displaying Customer Shipment data on PKEC.
The Despatch Transport Details have been made available for printing on the WPP format of the
Despatch Note (PKPR).
The Despatch Transport Details data is archived when the associated Sales Order is archived using
SOARCHIVE.
4.2.1.6 TS07 - Interface To SORDPRICE (SR4147_01)
This is an interface to the standard sales price calculation program. This is primarily designed to be
used as a component of customer-specific modules developed with TROPOS SDK.
