The WALTHER SSP-E is designated for rapid fire. Its electronic single stage trigger provides consistent
and fast firing.
Note: Please refer to the SSP Owner’s Manual for additional information
1. Safety / Dry Fire Mode
Any SSP-E is equipped with a manual safety. When engaged the safety blocks the sear.
SAFE POSITION turn the safety lever to the right (S)
FIRE POSITION turn the safety lever downwards (F)
Dry fire practice: Remove the magazine, pull the slide fully rearward and guide it back forward into
battery position. Now turn the safety lever to the right (S). It is important to follow this course of ac-
tion. It will engage the sear which will provide a positive feedback during dry firing.
2. Electronics:
A rechargeable battery is used for power supply. To recharge the battery use a Mini-B plug USB
cable and connect the device to a computer or separate power charger.
Approximately 1 minute charging time provides enough power to shoot 100 rounds, total charging
time is approx. 90 minutes. A fully charged battery will last for approximately 6.000 rounds.
When not in use the electronics will automatically go on standby mode. When in stand by, the di-
ode will be flashing every two seconds for 20 minutes. For the next 3 minutes the diode will be
flashing twice per second. After this the electronics automatically is turned off completely.
Remaining power: When squeezing the trigger the diode will indicate remaining battery power. A
long flash will be followed by short flashes, indicating 1000 rounds per flash. Low power is indicat-
ed by four short flashes followed by a pause.
When charging the battery using a Mini-B USB connector the diode will be on permanently. During
charging the electronics is deactivated, and the trigger does not work.
