5. HOP-UP
A special system called the "hop-up" has been fitted to the gun.
This system causes the projectile to rotate when fired, thus providing a higher
rate of energy. This will increase the range by up to 50% and will make shooting
more accurate.
Hop-Up Adjsutment
A special system called the "hop-up" has been fitted to the gun. This system
causes the projectile to rotate when fired, thus providing a higher rate of energy.

1. Put the safety on "safe"
2. Retract the slide and press the slide catch at the same
time to lock the slide.
3. Use the enclosed Allen key to adjust the hop-up twist:
a.) counter-clockwise to adjust the twist up
b.) clockwise to generate a negative twist downwards
6. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Good care and maintenance of the gun will provide you with many years of pleasant
shooting with the gun.
6.1 Unloading
Remove the magazine. remove the BBs from the magazine until the
follower is visible at the loading port.
Push the cleaning rod through the barrel. This would cause a BB left
in the barrel to fall out through the magazine well.
To discharge the gas tank, use a pin to press the valve stud until all gas is
discharged.
6.2 Stripping the gun
Do not touch the trigger (1). Put the safety on "fire" (2). Press against the barrel and turn the take-down lever (3). Remove
the slide (4) from the muzzle side of the gun (4) from the receiver (6).
Turn the slide upside down, press the barrel lock and push the barrel out of the slide (5).

CAUTION:
Never attempt to clean the gun without having put the safety to "safe" first, remove the
magazine and check the barrel, it must be clear.
The metal parts on the outside have to be cleaned from time to time. Use a soft cloth slightly
dampened with gun oil.
Note: After the last BB has been fired, the slide will remain in its rearmost
position. You may use the slide catch to manually unlock the slide.

6.4 Assembly of the gun
Replace the barrel in the slide while pressing the barrel lock.
Carefully put the slide back onto the receiver and then turn the take-down lever.
Note: Make sure that you keep the barrel lock pressed in order to prevent the
barrel from being pressed out of the slide.
Note: The hammer must be decocked because otherwise the lever will be
raised and will block the slide.

6.3 Lubrication
Use a small amount of oil to lubricate the following parts in order to ensure a proper functioning:

Lever must be flush with the receiver
(only when the hammer is decocked)
Press barrel lock up in this position,
otherwise the barrel will be pressed out of
the slide.
As soon as the slide is replaced, turn the take-
down lever back up.
Make sure that no springs come out.
