5.5 Adjusting the fore-end
5.5.1 Fore-end elevation for shooting in the standing position
The fore-end elevation for shooting in the standing position can be adjusted in the longitudinal
direction, in its height and in its inclination. It can also be swiveled about the barrel axis and laterally
displaced.
For removal or movement of the fore-end elevation in the longitudinal direction, undo the countersunk
screws (a) to unclamp the holding rail. The fore-end height, the inclination angle and the swivel about
the barrel axis are adjusted using the clamping screws (b). Slightly undo all screws (b), set the re-
quired height and inclination, then retighten the screws (b). The fore-end is swiveled transversely to
the direction of shooting by undoing the screws (c). After positioning, retighten the screws (c).
