Part one: General Information 1.0 Foreword The DEVO-4 is 4 channel Micro Computer System,it uses 2.4 GHz Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) technology, supports automatic ID binding and assignment, is small in size and easy to use. 1.1 Important Statements (1) The transmitter is suitable for experienced radio controlled helicopter modellers beyond 14 years old. (2) The flying of model aircraft in approved area's is a must.
(3) Proper operation Please use original Walkera spare parts to upgrade, modify or maintain your equipment in order to assure its safety. Please operate your equipment within the range of the permitted functions. II is forbidden to operate this equipment outside of the safety laws and regulations of the country it is being used in. (4) Safety operation Please fly your equipment according to your abilities and flight skills.

5.0 Neck Strap Usage There is a concealed eyelet in the front panel of the DEVO-4. It will pop out when you press the eyelet. The neck strap hook can then be connected to the eyelet. This eyelet is located near the center of gravity which helps to obtain the optimal balance for the transmitter. Neck Strap Eyelet 6.0 Installation requirement for receiver It is important to correctly mount your radio system in your model. Below are some advices on how to install your equipment.
7.0 Installation requirement for DEV0-4 battery pack Open the batte ry cover of DEV0-4 transmitter and take out the battery box. Insert 4 new AA batteries either Alkaline or full charged NIMH battery into the battery box. Please double check the polarities are correct and do not mix old and new batteries. WARNING: (1) Inserting the batteries with the incorrect polarity can cause damage to the transmitter and/or batteries. (2) Do not put the polarities of batteries in opposite directions.
Party two: Function Setup 1.0 Reverse Switch We provide a reversing switch for each channel, see below: Open the flexible cover on the back of the transmitter, there are 4 switches, switch to ON according to mark on the cover.
