Usethespecifiedwallmountingscrewsandother
accessories.
Tightenthewallmountingscrewsfirmlytoprevent
theTVfromfall.Donotover-tightenthescrews.

Environmental Information
Thistelevisionisdesignedtobeenvironmentfriendly.
Toreduceenergyconsumption,youcanfollowthese
steps:
IfyousettheEnergy Saving toMinimum,Medium,
MaximumorAuto theTV willreducethe energy
consumption accordingly. Ifyou like to setthe
BacklighttoafixedvaluesetasCustomandadjust
the Backlight(located under theEnergy Saving
setting)manuallyusingLeft orRightbuttonsonthe
remote.SetasOfftoturnthissettingoff.
Note: Available Energy Saving options may differ depending
on the selected Mode in the Settings>Picture menu.
TheEnergy Saving settingscanbefoundintheSet-
tings>Picturemenu.Notethatsomepicturesettings
willbeunavailabletobechanged.
IfpressedRightbuttonorLeftbuttonconsecutively,
“Screen wll be off n 1 seconds.”messagewllbe
dsplayedonthescreen.SelectProceedandpress
OK toturn the screenoff immediately. If you don’t
pressanybutton,thescreenwillbeoffin15seconds.
PressanybuttonontheremoteorontheTVtoturn
thescreenonagain.
Note: Screen Off option is not available if the Mode is set
to Game.
When theTV isnot in use, pleaseswitch off or
disconnecttheTVfromthemainsplug.Thiswillalso
reduceenergyconsumption.

YoucanuseyourTVasadigitalpictureframeusing
theStandbyModePicturefeature.Inordertodothis
followthestepsbelow.
SettheStandby Mode Pictureoptionin theSet-
tings>System>More menuas On. Thisoption is
setasOffbydefault.
Createaseparatefoldernamedasstandby_picture
intheUSBstoragedevice‘srootdirectoryandcopy
thefilesyou wanttouse intothatfolderand then
connecttheUSBstoragedevicetoyourTV.
PresstheStandbybuttonontheremotebrieflyto
switchyourTVintostandbymodepicturestate.
NotethatoncetheStandby Mode Pictureoptionis
setasOn,thefunctionoftheStandbybuttononthe
remotewillchange.Afterthisyouwillneedtopress
andholdthebuttontoswitchtheTVintostandbymode
whiletheTVisinnormaloperatingmode.
Ifthere aremorethan 1picturefile availablein the
folderallpicturefileswillbedisplayedasaslideshow
insuccession.Ifthenecessaryfolderisnotcreated
orthereisn‘tanypicturefileinthefolder,awarning
message willbe displayed onthe screen for afew
secondsandthendisappear.
Instandbymodepicturestatethebacklightlevelofthe
screenwillbedecreasedby50%andSmartCenter
featureswillnotbeusable,ifSmartCenterisavailable
foryourTVmodel.
Toswitch yourTVfrom standbymode picturestate
back tonormal operating modepress the Standby
buttonontheremotebriefly.
Besidetheremotecontrolyoucanalsousethecontrol
unit onthe TVto switch into standbymode picture
stateandbacktonormaloperatingmode.Inorderto
dothatfollowthesameinstructionsasdescribedinthe
TV Control & OperationsectionforswitchingtheTV
intothestandbymode.Notethatyouwillnotbeableto
switchtheTVintostandbymodeusingthecontrolunit
ontheTVwhiletheTVisinstandbymodepicturestate.
Note: The availability of this feature depends on the TV model
and its features.

for thes supported media file formats.
Standby Notifications
IftheTVdoesnotreceiveanyinputsignal(e.g.from
an
aerial orHDMI source) for3minutes, it willgo
intostandby.Whenyounextswitch-on,thefollowing
messagewillbedisplayed:“
TV switched to stand-by
mode automatically because there was no signal
for a long time.”
TheAuto Power Downoption(intheSettings>System
>More menu)couldhavebeensettoavaluebetween
1and8hoursbydefault.IfthissettingisnotsetasOff
andtheTVhasbeenleftonandnotbeenoperated
duringtheset time,itwillswitchinto standbymode
afterthesettimehasexpired.Wh
enyounextswitch-on
theTV,thefollowingmessagewillbedisplayed.“TV
