A menuwill appear onthe screen, requiring you
to enterthe PIN(*).After youenter the PIN, a
confirmationmessagewillbedisplayed.SelectYes
andpressOKtostartformattingthe USBstorage
device.SelectNoandpressOKtocancel.
(*) Default PIN could have been set to 0000 or 1234. If you
have defined the PIN(is requested depending on the country
selection) during the First Time Installation use the PIN
that you have defined.
IMPORTANT: Formatting yourUSB drivewill erase
ALLthedataonitandit’sfilesystemwillbeconverted
toFAT32.Inmostcasesoperationerrorswillbefixed
afteraformatbutyouwillloseALLyourdata.
If “USB disk writing speed too slow to record”
messageisdisplayedonthescreenwhilestartinga
recording,tryrestartingtherecording.Ifyoustillget
thesameerror,itispossiblethatyourUSBdiskdoes
not meetthe speed requirements.Tryconnecting
anotherUSBdisk.
Media Browser
Youcanplaybackmusicandmoviefilesanddisplay
photo filesstored on aUSB storage device by
connectingittoyourTV.ConnectaUSBstoragedevice
tooneoftheUSBinputslocatedonthesideoftheTV.
After connectinga USB storagedevice to yourTV
Media Browsermenuwillbedisplayedonthescreen.
You can accessthe content ofthe connected USB
deviceanytimelaterfromtheSourcesmenu.Select
therelatedUSBinputoptionfromthismenuandpress
OK.You canalso press the Sourcebutton on the
remoteandthenselectyourUSBstoragedevicefrom
thelistofsources.Thenselectthefileofyourchoice
andpressOKtodisplayorplayitback.
You can setyour Media Browser preferencesby
using theSettings menu. Settingsmenu can be
accessedviatheinformationbarwhichisdisplayed
onthebottomofthescreenwhileplayingbackavideo
fileordisplayingapicturefile.PresstheInfobutton
iftheinformationbarhasdisappeared,highlightthe
gear wheelsymbol positioned onthe right side of
theinformationbarandpressOK.Picture Settings,
Sound Settings,Media Browser Settingsand
Optionsmenuswillbeavailable.Thecontentofthe
Settingsmenumaychangeaccordingtothetypeof
thecurrentlyopenmediafile.OnlySound Settings
menuwillbeavailablewhileplayingbackaudiofiles.

Tousethefunctionsontheinformationbarhighlightthe
symbolofthefunctionandpressOK.Tochangethe
statusofafunctionhighlightthesymbolofthefunction
andpressOKas muchasneeded.Ifthesymbol is
markedwitharedcross,thatmeansitisdeactivated.
Custom Boot Up Logo
YoucanpersonalizeyourTVandseeyourfavourite
imageorphotoonthescreeneachtimeyourTVboots
up.Todothis,copyyourfavouriteimagefilesintoa
USBdiskandopenthemintheMedia Browser.Select
USB inputfrom the Sourcesmenu and press OK.
Whenyouhavechosenthedesiredimage,highlight
it andpress OK toview it infullscreen. Press the
Infobutton,highlight thegearwheel symbolonthe
informationbar and pressOK. SelectOptions and
press OKto enter.Set Boot Logo option will be
available.HighlightitandpressOKagaintochoosethe
imageascustombootlogo.Aconfirmationmessage
willbedisplayed.SelectYesandpressOKagain.If
theimageissuitable(*)youwillseeitonthescreen
duringtheTV’snextbootup.
Note: If you perform a First Time Installation the TV will
return to using the default logo, if any.
(*) Images should be in jpeg file formats. Only files with sizes
no greater then 4MB are supported. FollowMe TV
Withyourmobiledeviceyoucanstreamthecurrent
broadcast fromyour smartTV using the FollowMe
TV feature.Install the appropriateSmart Center
applicationtoyourmobiledevice.Starttheapplication.
Forfurtherinformationonusingthis featurereferto
theinstructionsoftheapplicationyouuse.
Note: Depending on model, your TV may not support this
function. The application may not be compatible with all mobile
devices. UHD (4K, Ultra HD) channels are not supported and
both of the devices must be connected to the same network.
CEC
This functionallows to controlthe CEC-enabled
devices,that areconnectedthrough HDMIports by
usingtheremotecontroloftheTV.
The CECoption in the Settings>System>Device
SettingsmenushouldbesetasEnabledatfirst.Press
theSourcebuttonandselecttheHDMIinputofthe

connectedCECdevicefromtheSources Listmenu.
WhennewCECsourcedeviceisconnected,itwillbe
listedin sourcemenu withits ownnameinstead of
theconnectedHDMIportsname(suchasDVDPlayer,
Recorder1etc.).
TheTVremote isautomatically abletoperform the
mainfunctionsaftertheconnectedHDMIsourcehas
beenselected.Toterminatethisoperationandcontrol
theTVviatheremoteagain,pressandholdthe“0-
Zero”buttonontheremotecontrolfor3seconds.
YoucandisabletheCECfunctionalitybysettingthe
related optionunder the Settings>System>Device
Settings menuaccordingly.
TheTVsupportsARC(AudioReturnChannel).This
featureisanaudiolinkmeanttoreplaceothercables
betweentheTVandanaudiosystem(A/Vreceiveror
speakersystem).
WhenARCisactive,theTVwillmuteitsotheraudio
outputs, exceptthe headphone jack,automatically
andvolumecontrolbuttonsaredirectedtoconnected
audiodevice.ToactivateARCsettheSound Output
optioninthe Settings>SoundmenuasHDMI ARC.
Note: ARC is supported only via the HDMI2 input.
System Audio Control
AllowsanAudioAmplifier/Receivertobeusedwiththe
TV.Thevolumecanbecontrolledusingthe remote
control ofthe TV. To activate thisfeature set the
Sound Outputoptioninthe Settings>Soundmenu
asHDMI ARC.WhenHDMI ARCoptionisselected,
CEC optionwillbesetasEnabled automatically,ifit
isnotalreadyset.TheTVspeakerswillbemutedand
thesoundofthewatchedsourcewillbeprovidedfrom
theconnectedsoundsystem.
Note: The audio device should support System Audio Control
feature.
