2000W Ionic Dryer GENERAL USER INFORMATION Information about using the operation manual ► Before using the appliance for the first time, you must read and understand the operation manual completely. ► Consider the operation manual as part of the product and store it in a safe and accessible place. ► Include this operation manual if passing the appliance on to a third party. ► In the case of conflicts with national safety specifications or instructions, the national requirements must be followed.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using this electrical appliance, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be observed including the following. Requirements ► Read the instruction manual in full to familiarise yourself with the product before the first use.
2000W Ionic Dryer Hazards Danger! Electric shock due to damage to appliance ► Do not operate the appliance with a broken cord or plug, or if the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in anyway. ► If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a suitably qualified professional in order to avoid a hazard. ► Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the work surface or let it touch any hot surfaces.

Do not take into bathroom. ► When the hairdryer is used in the bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off. ► For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

Danger of product damage ► Never use your appliance without paying attention! ► Always unplug the unit when not in use or left unattended. ► Do not wrap the cord around the appliance. ► Do not obstruct the inlet or outlet grills. ► If the airflow is obstructed during use, the built in thermal safety device will automatically cut out the appliance. The hairdryer will switch on again automatically after cooling down for a few minutes. ► Do not use outdoors or in damp areas.
2000W Ionic Dryer OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Before plugging the dryer in, check the voltage on the rating label corresponds to the local mains voltage. To start using the dryer, plug in to the mains and turn on using the speed switch on the handle (Part ‘C’ on page 3). Adjust the speed and heat settings using the switches on the handle (see page 3 for list of parts). To use the cool shot, press and hold the button at the front of the dryer (Part ‘D’ on page 3).
2000W Ionic Dryer Concentrator attachments The dryer comes with two air concentrator nozzles (one narrow slim nozzle, and one wide slim nozzle). The concentrator nozzles can be fitted to the front of the dryer and may be turned to the desired position. IMPORTANT: Do not use attachments on high heat setting as overheating can cause damage to both the dryer and the concentrator nozzles. Rear filter • At the motor end of the dryer there is a detachable filter cover which may be removed for cleaning.
2000W Ionic Dryer CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WARNING: Check the mains cord periodically for signs of wear and tear including any splits, visible wires, etc. If found, stop using immediately. • • • • Always unplug the hairdryer before cleaning. Do not immerse in water. Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the body of the hairdryer, and dry with a clean cloth. Store the appliance in a drawer or hang-up (using hanging loop) away from dust or moisture.
2000W Ionic Dryer WIRING INSTRUCTIONS WARNING: IF THE SUPPLY CORD IS DAMAGED IT MUST BE REPLACED BY THE MANUFACTURER OR A SUITABLY QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL IN ORDER TO AVOID A HAZARD. The wires in the mains lead of this Hairdryer are coloured in accordance to the following code: Blue Neutral (N) Brown Live (L) This appliance is fitted with a 3 pin plug which has a 13amp fuse fitted.
