STYLE COLLECTION STYLING IRON ►►Do not operate the appliance with a broken cord or plug, or if the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in anyway. ►►If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. ►►Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the work surface or let it touch any hot surfaces. WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.

Injuries due to incorrect handling ►►Switch off the appliance and unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off attachments and also before cleaning the appliance. ►►Never use the appliance on artificial hair ►►Care should be taken to avoid contact with the skin, the face and neck. STYLE COLLECTION STYLING IRON OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Before plugging in check that the voltage matches that shown on the rating label. BEFORE USING Make sure that all the packaging materials have been properly removed before use. NOTE: Never use this appliance to dry your hair, but only to straighten and style it. OPERATION 1. Connect the appliance to a wall socket and place it on a dry surface that is resistant to heat. The appliance will beep twice to indicate power to the unit.

To alter the temperature, lightly press the touch button (Fig 1), which will beep once and the red light will move to the next setting on the temperature display (Fig 1), indicating the temperature selected. NOTE: the plates have very high temperatures during operation. Make sure to keep them away from the scalp and skin to avoid burns.
STYLE COLLECTION STYLING IRON TROUBLESHOOTING Problem The appliance does not switch on. Smoke comes out of the hair or from the appliance during use. The results are not as expected. Possible Cause Solution / Hint The appliance is not switched on. Hold your finger on the touch button for 3 seconds, until the appliance beeps twice and the LED screen lights up. The plug is not fitted correctly into wall socket. Fit the plug correctly into wall socket. The wall socket is damaged.
STYLE COLLECTION STYLING IRON Blue Neutral (N) Brown Live (L) This appliance is fitted with a 3 pin BS Approved BS1363 plug which has a 13amp fuse fitted. If the plug supplied is not suitable for your socket or becomes damaged, it should be cut off and disposed of, and a suitable plug fitted as detailed below.
