Advantages of the modular system
Unlike conventional alarm systems that are completely
installed in the engine compartment, the alarm unit
of the MagicSafe MS 650 is protected from moisture.
Fitted inside the car, it is out of reach of splash water
(heavy rain or engine wash).
What’s more, the modular design means you can
connect additional sensors, e. g. a gas detector
(p. 192/192) or a radio PIR movement sensor.
The tried and tested WAECO MagicSafe MS 650 satisfies the
needs of our most demanding customers. Easy to install with its
modular design, this car alarm system provides reliable protection
from theft, break-in and vandalism.
The comprehensive security for inside and out responds immediately
– to movements inside, to the opening of any access, or to the start
of the ignition. If the alarm is triggered, either the car horn or the
siren (available as an optional extra) sounds for 30 seconds, and the
hazard lights flash. In an acute emergency, you can use the panic
button and trigger alarm by the hand transmitter.
Radio PIR movement sensor
The wireless movement sensor WAECO MagicSafe MS650 PIR is able
to monitor even larger interiors such as in motorhomes or caravans.
Unlike other sensors, there’s no need for wiring – a crucial advantage
because the MS 650PIR can easily be moved from one location to
another. During the day, for example, it secures the caravan, while it
will keep an eye on trailer or luggage box at night, or on the motorhome
in the summer and the garage in the winter, or the trailer during the
week – and at the weekend ...
The MS 650PIR is an additional sensor, which can be combined with all
MS 650 car alarm models produced from year 2000.
The unit consists of a movement sensor and a radio transmitter. In an
emergency, it transmits a radio signal to the car alarm’s base station,
which will immediately trigger the alarm.
