Voltage converters
If the 24-volt on-board battery powers the 12-volt navigation
system and the 24-volt co ee maker works problem-free with a
12-volt supply, there’s bound to be a PerfectPower voltage
converter somewhere along the line. This product range
satisfi es the highest standards with respect to voltage stability
and operating safety. Also functions as a high-quality IU
charger, can be operated in parallel mode.
IU-charging converters
Sensitive 12-volt appliances depend on a constant, stable
voltage that the onboard battery cannot always supply. Simply
connect a PerfectCharge IU charging converter between the
power sources: it stabilises voltage and compensates for over-
and undervoltage in the range from 8 – 16 volts. By
increasing the charging voltage, it also ensures complete
charging of supply batteries during a cruise.
