Um diesem Problem aus dem Weg zu gehen, sollten Sie ihre Kühlbox vor direktem Sonnenlicht schützen, niemals den Luftstrom behindern (1 + 2) und das Gerät nie in einem abgeschlossenen Raum ohne Frischluftzufuhr betreiben (3).

Am besten lässt sich die Box mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen, eventuell auch mit etwas Geschirrspülmittel. Wird die Box längere Zeit nicht benutzt, sollte sie vorher getrocknet werden. Wichtig ist auch eine ausreichende Belüftung, da sich sonst Pilze bilden. Während einer längeren Benutzungspause sollte daher der Deckel geöffnet sein.
