Using the cooler

Plug the 12/24 V connection cable (fig. 1 2, page 3) into the
DC voltage socket and into the cigarette lighter or a 12 V or
24 V socket.

Caution – danger of overheating
Always ensure that there is sufficient ventilation so that the heat
generated during operation can dissipate. Ensure that the ventila-
tion slots are not covered. Make sure that the device is sufficiently
far away from walls and other objects so that the air can circulate.
Place the cooler on a firm foundation.

Note
Place the cooler as shown (fig. 1, page 3). If you operate the box
in a different position, it can be damaged.

Caution – danger from excessively low temperature
Ensure that the only those objects are placed in the cooler that are
intended to be cooled at the selected temperature.
7.1 Cooling/charging with an external power supply

tion slots are not covered. Make sure that the device is sufficiently
far away from walls and other objects so that the air can circulate.
Connect the cooler (see “Connecting the cooler” on page 37).
Set the battery switch (fig. 4 2, page 4) to “BATTERY ON”.
The status LED lights up.
If the status LED flashes, the power supply is insufficient for
recharging.
If the status LED remains dark, no power supply is available.
Battery mode is activated.
Press the “ON/OFF” button (fig. 3 1, page 3) for one to
two seconds.
