INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE
Graphire USB tablets require a Windows 98, Me, or 2000 system with USB port. Note that you must install the tablet software
from the Graphire Tablet CD to get full tablet functionality.
• Insert the Graphire Tablet CD into the CD-ROM drive.
• Double-click on the software S

icon located on the Graphire Tablet CD.
• Select a language from the C

dialog box and follow the prompts to complete the installation of the
Graphire driver software.
• Adobe Acrobat Reader V3.0 or greater is required to view the online Graphire User’s Manual and Help. If Acrobat Reader
is already installed on your system, you may cancel this installation.

You should now be able to use your Graphire Pen on the tablet to move the screen cursor in Pen Mode. You can verify this by
opening the Wacom control panel and choosing the M

Important: If your PC was not configured with a USB keyboard or USB mouse, it may not support USB devices while in
Windows Safe Mode. In this case, Graphire will not function in Safe Mode.
