2.8.3 Seat belt
Before starting the engine:
adjust the seat to provide comfortable access
to all control ranges.
examine the seat belt webbing for any mechani-
cal or chemical damage and replace if neces-
sary.
inspect all seat belt hardware for functional-
ity and serviceability, repairing or replacing if
necessary.
fasten the seat belt and adjust to contact the
lower torso rmly.
When not in use:
store the seat belt by placing it across the seat
pad.
ensure that the seat belt retractors work freely.
2.8.4 Backup alarm for reverse drive
(Optional equipment)
A backup alarm sounds when reverse gear is engaged.
The sound is to warn persons who are in the vicinity of the
loader that the loader is going into reverse.
