10.6 Sound Measurements
The required sound specification, Paragraph 1.7.4.f of 89/392/EEC Machinery
Directive, is:
■ the sound pressure level at operator’s location (L

■ the guaranteed sound power level (L

) = 108.0 db(A).
These sound values were determined according to ISO 3744 for the sound power
level (L

) and ISO 11204 for the sound pressure level (L

) at the operator’s
location.
10.7 Vibration Measurements
Products are tested for hand/arm vibration (HAV) level in accordance with ISO
5349. The weighted effective acceleration value is approximately:
