4. Turn the starting key (d) to crank the engine.
NOTICE ■ When the key is in the ON position, an alarm will sound. The alarm is a reminder
to turn the key to the OFF position when the machine is not in use. Failure to do
this will result in a dead battery. The alarm will stop when proper oil pressure is
reached.
■ Do not crank the engine starter for more than 15 seconds at one time. Cranking
the engine longer than 15 seconds could lead to starter damage. Allow 30
seconds between cranking attempts.
5. Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before operating the machine.
Note: Always operate the machine in the operating position.
