4.14 Position of the Operator and Handle
Safe and efficient use of this machine is the operator’s responsibility. Full control of
the machine is not possible unless the operator maintains the proper working
position at all times.
While in the operating position, the operator must:
■ stand or walk behind the machine, facing forward with the handle directly ahead;
■ hold the handle with both hands, remove only one hand when necessary to
adjust the forward/reverse control lever.
