RD7 Operation
4.6 Using the Watering System
The RD 7 is equipped with a water spray system which allows for wet or dry
operation. The water is gravity-fed to the nozzles when the water control valve is in
the OPEN (horizontal) position (a).
NOTICE ■ Use only clean water when filling the water tank.
■ If temperatures fall below freezing, drain remaining water from the water tank.
4.7 Using the Vibration System
The vibration system consists of a drive motor within each of the machine’s two
drums. The exciter lever (a) activates/deactivates the vibration system. When the
exciter lever is in the ON position (b), the vibration system is activated and will
remain activated no matter the direction of travel (forward, neutral, or reverse), until
the exciter lever is set to the OFF position (c).
