6. Measure the voltage at the electrical connector.
Does the voltage measure 10–13 VDC?
7. Measure the resistance at the connector pins.
Does the resistance measure 5–10 Ohms?
Result The vibration ON/OFF solenoid has now been checked.
If the problem has not been resolved, continue with the next topic.

Continue. Repair the wiring between the vibration ON/OFF switch and the
vibration ON/OFF solenoid.
Yes ____ No ____
The vibration ON/OFF solenoid is OK. The vibration ON/OFF solenoid has failed;
replace it.
