4.2 Determining Where to Begin
Prerequisites
Engine must be able to start
Multimeter
Procedure
Follow the procedure below to determine where to begin and the sequence of
checking the drive system.
1. Disconnect the seat switch solenoid (a).
2. With the engine running, measure the voltage between wire 307-OR-16 and
ground.
f If 10–12.5 VDC is not measured, the problem is within the electrical compo-
nents. Follow the sequence below to troubleshoot the electrical components of
the drive system.
f If 10–12.5 VDC is measured, the problem is within the hydraulic components.
Follow the sequence below to troubleshoot the hydraulic components of the
drive system.
